Timothy J. Wiggins

Vice President of Operations and Information Technology

is responsible for leading back office operations in conjunction with developing and implementing an enterprise wide technology strategy. Tim joined The Medical Protective Company and GE Insurance in April 2002.

Prior to joining GE and Medical Protective Tim spent 11 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in various consulting and sales roles. In 2000 Tim joined EDS sales and served as Business Development Leader and Solution Executive for large scale outsourcing engagements within the Automotive, Chemical, and Apparel industries.

From 1991 until 1999 Tim provided information technology leadership and consulting as a member of EDS' Insurance Business Unit. Tim held the position of System Engineer and Project Leader at Jackson National Life, served as Technical Delivery Manager at Security Connecticut Life (ING) and Industrial Risk Insures (GE), and held the position of Account Executive at Lamar Life (Conseco).

Tim earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Information Systems from Alma College. He earned his FLMI designation from the Life Office Management Association in September of 1996.
